Ultrapanel Shortlisted Again for Prestigious Industry Award

The team at Ultrapanel Building Technologies have described how they feel “humbled” to be shortlisted for yet another prestigious industry award, in the category of Best Offsite/Modular Innovation at the Building Innovation Awards, which take place in Manchester in early November.

The shortlisting comes just eight months after the launch of the efficient ‘room in the roof’ system, which has already won Best Brand New Product at the Housebuilder Product Awards and a Highly Commended in the Product Innovation category at the Offsite Awards.

Commenting about the tremendous reception to the system since launch, Ultrapanel Managing Director, John Hough, said: “For a product that was only launched in January to already have enjoyed such success at a number of highly respected awards ceremonies is extremely humbling, and we are thrilled with this latest shortlisting for the Building Innovation Awards. We’ve received a remarkable response to the system since January, starting with fantastic feedback following our highly attended virtual launch ceremony. Since then, we have received a huge amount of interest in the system, and it is already being rolled out on sites across the country by some of the largest volume housebuilders in the UK.”

Manufactured off-site and delivered as a flat packed ‘room in the roof’ kit, Ultrapanel’s innovative and accredited modern method of construction is the most efficient end to end way to build. Materials, manufacturing, and labour are optimised to deliver structural and thermal performance in a much lighter, simpler, and faster building system, with a high quality finish every time. Arriving palletised Ultrapanel is rapidly assembled and requires no heavy lifting equipment. Thanks to short call offs and a responsive supply chain the Ultrapanel ‘room in the roof’ delivers significant programme gains on busy sites.

To date, the Ultrapanel ‘room in the roof’ system has won Best Brand New Product at the Housebuilder Product Awards, been Highly Commended at the Offsite Awards for Product Innovation, and will now compete for the Best Offsite/Modular Innovation category at the Building Innovation Awards, Innovation of the Year (Non-Contractor) and Offsite Specialist of the Year at the CN Awards, and Product of the Year at the Housebuilder Awards.
